Hi Dwight!
Dave Andrews forwarded your message to me about the 150 blind Veterans pins!
I am the artist who is making them!
I would love to make them for you!
Can you tell me what design you would like on the pins? Would you like
something written in braille? Do you have a specific shape and color you
would like? Maybe an American flag?
Just to give you a few ideas, this is what I am doing so far:
1)For the Diabetic Action Network, a diamond shape with the letters DAN in
braille on it with a jewel brown glaze.
2) For Krafters Korner, a hand with NFB KK in braille on it in a sapphire
blue glaze
3) For the Visual Impressions support group, I am doing a lighthouse with VI
brailled at the bottom, in burgundy and gold glazes
4) For Texas, I am doing a Texas-shaped pin with WHOZIT in the middle
5) for The Colorado Center summer program, I am doing a round medallion on
leather with raised line mountains and a sun that
says CCB, Summer, 2008 in braille.
My phone number is 970-336-1233,or you can e-mail me anytime!
I look forward to talking to you!
Diane
