[Blindtlk] braille math

Hi,
I have a question for all the computer users out there. I'm taking a
basic math class this summer. I'm trying to find a way to get my book
in electronic braille. I want to use my braillenote to read the book.
The school Disability services is helping me to get the book ready
but they don't have any idea about braille or Nemoth code. We tried
using Kurzweil to translate a test math section and the words
translated great but the numbers and math symbols did not fair so
well. Is there such a program that will put the words into grade 2
and the math stuff into Nemoth code? The school has Kurzweil and
Duxburry for translation software. Do you have any ideas? It takes
way too long and is way too expensive to get the book in hard copy
braille. I'm also e-mailing this to the student list so those who are
on both lists... my advanced apolagies. *grin*
Peace,
Cari
