Dewey,
I think a lot of people will agree with me, but I will offer just my own
opinion here:
I pay half fare. I'm unemployed, borrowing money at a fanatic rate (I am
a college student), and generally cannot afford any extra expenses. It's
there, and for the time being, I'll take it.
When that situation changes--and it will change--I will pay full fare.
Of course the half-fare thing applies to anyone with a Medicare card, not
just the blind.
