Feel free Ray. Best place to do that is by just emailing me at the
address I'm writing from now.

Harmeet, mind if I write you off list? Since you work for Comcast, I
suspect you might be in a good position to give me some advice; As I'm
turning my mind toward consideration of work; and, to put it quite
frankly,
if I'm going to give eight hours of my day to somebody else, I'd better
believe in them as a company. I think you can guess where I'm taking
this.
Sincerely yours,

I work for Comcast. I do customer service for them. The DVR isn't
really accessible to blind people at all right now. There is no
nonvisual access built into the thing at all.
As far as everything else, I hope we're not doing too badly. Had some
problems awhile back here with Directory Assistance Exemption issues,
but I think we've cleared those up now. I hope we have. We don't
segregate our customers and make them talk to a disabilities department
like Verizon does. We offer braille and large print statements, but so
does everyone else when you press them for them. Our Comcast.net site
most users use could use some more web accessibility. It would be
really interesting to hear what others say though. I'm not in upper
management, but I hope that I can help improve things around here.
Bounce ideas.

Hi there,
On Thursday, I will be switching from AT&T to Comcast. I'll be
getting all three services from them, and the DVR also. I'd very much
like
to hear from all of y'all who have Comcast as to the eas of using the
DVR
and the general feeling you think Comcast has toward blind customers; if
any. Feel free to write me off list if you like; or, if you feel the
entire
group would benefit from your answer, that's fine too. Thanks in
advance.
Sincerely yours,
The Constantly Barefooted,
Ray
