Hi Jim!
Sounds like something's going on with your network at home.
Have you tried completely shutting down the power for your modem and/or 
router? Sometimes these things need to be power cycled down for a few 
minutes, then a restart by plugging things back in (modem first than router)
Another thing you might have to do is to reset the router back to its 
default settings. How you do this and configure it depends largely on what 
kind of router you have.
At last resort, you might also try calling your company that provides you 
internet for further options.
