[Blindtlk] A Formatting Question

Good Morning,
I am currently using the jaws screen reader, (9.0) in conjunction with
the Alva Braille Display.
Our operating system is MS windows XP.
My job responsibilities require me to format Settlement Agreements and a
variety of other documentation to be forwarded to outside parties
(complainants and respondent.)
I have found that there are times when the feedback I receive from my
screen reader/Braille display about where things are setup or located on
the screen do not coincide with how the documents appear once they are
printed out.
In the past, this has been a relatively minor problem, because, as these
documents are subject to supervisor's approval, my supervisor would
simply alert me to any problems and I would go back and fix them.
However, my supervisor has recently retired, and my previous coworker is
no longer with the agency. So, I am the only one in my unit at this
time.
Our agency is in transition, so I'd really like to eliminate this
problem altogether, as I don't know who my future supervisor will be,
and how willing he/she will be to simply advise me when there is a
problem.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone might have any tips on how the exact
placement of information on the screen can be identified, and how to
catch these glitches before the actual document are printed out.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Diane Graves
