[Blindtlk] A sort of tech question

Hi Gary,

She has the USB adapter and that seems ok. But, we don't know how to get
the computer to recognize it. I did find someone, on another list, who uses
the Blazer with an adapter on the parallel cable. So, it can be done, but
we just haven't figured out how to make the computer recognize it, yet. Do
you think the age of the software in the Blazer would have anything to do
with that? The date on the software in my friend's Blazer is June, 1991.

Cindy, my guess is that the Braille Blazer requires a serial
port. I do not think you can feed it from a USB port unless you
buy a special USB adaptor.
