[Blindtlk] Fw: [blind-family] More research new

I had some vision once upon a time, and I am keenly aware of the things that
sight can offer, just in terms of aesthetics, not simply the practical
things. But the fact is, there is nothing on offer now or for many years in
the way of surgery or artificial sight that will come even close to even the
partial vision I once had, so why beat myself up about the matter?
If there was a relatively non-invasive way to get my vision back, and it
would be real vision, not some pixalized simulacra of vision, I would do it,
but this is really an academic point, as this choice is not available, and
won't be.
Meanwhile I'll continue to live my life, thank you.
