Hi Josh,
Your second or third message shed a bit of light on the subject. I
didn't realize at first that you had just had the baby. But, if the
baby was just born, and you all were still at the hospital when this
happened, my best guess would be that it was very likely some sighted
busy body at the hospital who called, who thinks blindness and parenting
don't mix.
most hospitals have social service offices, and I'm betting that on the
prompting of one of the OB nurses or whatever they likely called. Of
course I don't know, and we may never know. But I would definitely
follow the advice our listers have given in case CPS does decide they
are going to do anything stupid.
The total arrogance of the sighted never ceases to amaze me.
