Hey Karmalynne,

    First of all, don't worry about it's being politically incorrect to have 
a large family.  Your large family is your business and nobody elses'.  Now, 
others have suggested that you report the delivery man to the company; and, 
they're absolutely right.  Sounds to me like Alfonso has a good head on his 
shoulders; in that he saved you what ever trouble you might have had to 
reply to this jerk who thought that blind women shouldn't be raising 
children.  As you say, very unsettling.

    I once had a UPS driver who made a delivery to me; and then, acted like 
he wanted to come in to my place to maybe have a bit of a chat with me or 
something.  I stalled him at the door and thanked him for the package and 
wished him good night.  Usually, this sort of thing does not happen.  I'd 
say report this guy at once.  Do not hesitate!!!

Hey Everyone,
I had the most unsettling thing happen yesterday. I have a large family.
There are 9 kids, and soon there will be eleven. I don't speak of my family
normally because I want to respect their privacy. Yes, children have a right
to privacy. Well, I know it is politically incorrect to have a large family,
but it is my family. I am very, very proud of family. Please forgive the
background info, but you will see how it fits into my story.
We are in the process of remodeling the house. The workman are really cool.
I knw most of them by name, and they also know my family and I too.They are
also very protective, and they let know if someone is in my driveway. I had
a package delivered yesterday. Three of my kids decided to answer the door,
and he gave them the package. I thanked him, and he was polite to my face.
Then he told Alfonso(one of the workman) that "those type women" shouldn't
be allowed to raise children. He felt sorry for the kids, and their father
must be an idiot. He also said that only uneducated woman have large
families. He said his remarks in Spanish not realizing that I am a spanish
speaker when I choose to be. Alfonso returned his remarks with a few unkinds
for this man, and told him he was a disgrace.
I was shocked and surprised. I didn't know what to do, but I knew that I
needed to keep my composure so as not to scare the kids. I am just glad they
didn't hear him. I did learn something from this. I learned to always think
before you speak. Well, that is my story. I am sorry for the length.
