Web-basedaccessibilitytool
I love the idea of accessibility that travels with you, rather than some
fixed piece of add on software with rigid key signatures and licensing
controls. I've been burned too many times by Freedom Scientific when I
tried to re-load my copy of JAWS after installing a new harddrive, or some
other systems changes only to be told I am out of installs.
Question is, if this costs $500 for the first year, as you suggest, plus
yearly on-going payments, this is hardly cheaper than JAWS or Window-eyes.
Frankly I'm tired of being soaked by adaptive software companies, and the
excuse of market share was stale a decade and a half ago.
The other question I have is how is one supposed to go on to the internet
and grab this SA to gGo if the computer you are using doesn't talk? This
implies you would have to have sighted assistance to get started every time
you sat down at a new location. Seems rather limiting to me.
