Most Americans with Medicare are eligible to receive free inpatient/hospital insurance (Part A), and pay a relatively low premium for outpatient/medical insurance (Part B). However, many people still have trouble affording the costs associated with Medicare coverage—the monthly premiums, deductible and coinsurances for doctors visits. As a result, they do not take advantage of this important coverage.

To educate professionals, caregivers and people with Medicare about Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs)—programs available to help pay for Medicare health costs—the Medicare Rights Center is providing a free educational web seminar that explains:



  a.. What are Medicare Savings Programs? 
  b.. Who is eligible? 
  c.. How do you enroll in an MSP? 
  d.. How enrolling can affect your eligibility for other assistance programs. 
  e.. Your rights and how to exercise them.
