Hi there Amanda,

    Let me take a line or two to welcome you to the list.  You'll like it 
here.  My name is Raymond; but please, just call me "Ray".  I'm from Houma 
Louisiana; that's about fifty miles south west of New orleans.  Pretty much 
everybody on this here list knows me in some way or other; uh, at least, I 
kind of like to think so.  Anyhow, welcome.

PS.  Last national convention I attended was way back in 1994.  The reason I 
haven't been to another?  Not enough money.  Well, take care.
