[Blindtlk] Windows Firewall

The most advanced parts of the program require you to pay for/register it.
But you can do a lot with it; you may have to refresh the screen (JAWS Key +
Escape) occasionally. Best thing is to read the help topics and experiment.
In essence, though, you use your up and down arrow keys to move to each
message; hit D to delete. When you've gone thru the messages, hit F6 to
process the mail. You'll have to set up the accounts; MailWasher allows you
to import accounts from your email program. You can set up Friends lists and
Blacklists and if you register the program, you can set up what are called
Bayesian filters to teach the program what sort of spam you get. You can
hide the spam or, perhaps more effectively, once you have the program
correctly categorizing your email, you can hide spam and friends so all you
see are questionable messages. You can then zap em or tell the program
they're legit.

It's a bit quirky with JAWS but really does work. You may have a bit of
trouble with initial installation; write to MailWasher support for
assistance. Earlier versions installed a bit more accessibly so I could send
you an earlier version to get you started if you like.

But mostly, it's just learning by doing.

Mike

How do you use Mail Washer? I downloaded it, but Jaws won't read anything
unless I turn on the Jaws key, and then it doesn't allow me to do anything
anyway. I'm a pretty advanced user of Jaws, so I'm just wondering how I'm
suppose to use it?
