[Blindtlk] favorite tv shows

Gloria, I'll give you a straight answer here.  Originally, the question had 
not a thing to do with blindness; but, some of us have manipulated the 
thread so that now it has a lot to do with blindness.  More specifically, it 
seems to have to do with how sighted people both view and portray us; 
whether accurately or inaccurately.  Yes, this is a group about blindness; 
but, let me remind you that life itself is about more than just being blind. 
It's about more than just the NFB.  Real life, as it is lived by most of us, 
and I'm sure you as well, involves many other things besides blindness. 
Now, mind you, I'm not suggesting that the group should not be topic 
specific; but, I am suggesting that it seems to be the nature of the beats 
that internet e-mail groups can falsely lead one to believe that we are all 
about nothing all live long day but what ever the topic of the group happens 
to be: in this case, blindness.  Real life just doesn't work like that.
