[Blindtlk] favorite tv shows

Ah yes, "Blind Justice", flawed though it was, was a favorite of mine also.
Uh, let me see now, on the show "The young and The Restless", there was, for
a time, a blind character named Hope. She was played by a sighted actress;
but, still and all, she was there, at least for a while anyhow.
Sincerely yours,
The Constantly Barefooted,
Ray

What about the show Blind Justice with the blind cop? I thought it was
pretty good despite a few annoying occurrences (he ran into a desk drawer
that was left open and was annoyed that someone hadn't closed it). Also, he
always solved each case perfectly which made the show too predictable. I
would have liked to see them show that no cop has a perfect track record. He
was almost impossibly good at the job. It was taken off the air after 8
weeks or so.

Well, there was LaForge on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Except that he
had a tool to make him not-blind, and he chose to wear this tool all the
time, even though it caused him pain to do so.
OK, bad example.
But I did like the McDonalds commercial a few years ago with the little girl
reading braille and celebrating with a Happymeal. (grin)
