Neil Bernstein, National Library Service (NLS) research and development officer, was the keynote speaker for the annual meeting of the Friends of Wolfner
Library held April 21, 2007. Neil speaks on the NLS migration from analog to digital talking books. In his one hour presentation, he demonstrates and describes
the new digital talking book machine, explains AMR-WB+ codec, digital download project and speaks on other vital issues occurring at this time of momentous
change in the national cooperative network library system.
