I think the requirements vary from state to state so I don't know what
the restrictions are in your state, but you may want to check into
whether you would be eligible for food stamps, as you are not working.

Thanks, I'm all set with my check and everything though. I've been
in
charge my own money now for about nine years, since I first got it.
I'm not sure about being able to live in a section 8 apartment without
some
extra assistance though. There's rent, which isn't bad, but then I would
need a phone and some form of entertainment; internet I guess. So then
I'd
have maybe $300 to spend on food a month, and what the heck would I be
able
to save? I don't like having no money at all.
So I contacted my Social Worker about getting extra assistance with that
stuff. She is coming Friday to talk about whether or not I'm eligible
for a
waver or something. I'll just have to wait and see what she says.
