[Blindtlk] DVD and TV

Hi all,

I have decided to change my new DVD and music equipment for my dining-room, 
I mean, not for computer purposes, but for watching TV, recording the 
programmes on DVD, or recording from the radio on MP3, etc. I thought that 
perhaps anyone can give me a bit of advice about this topic. The DVD that I 
saw here, I am in Spain, it is not accessible or usable by a blind person, 
sometimes you can play the DVD, or even sometimes you can record some 
programme, it depends on the machine, but what to do if you want to record a 
movie but you think you will be not at home at the time they offer the 
movie?, can you set the options for the DVD to start recording in a specific 
time? and what about the menus for you to choose? in the old times there was 
a video Sharp which contained a spoken menu, is there anything similar at 
the present moment?

Any opinion would be very welcome. Thank you for reading and excuse my bad 
English.
