I have a very good memory, and I remember the Christmas that I was three.  I
wanted a doll house.  My Dad built a two-story doll house for me.  He put in
real linoleum like we had in our kitchen.  It also had real plush carpet.
The wallpaper in the doll house was remnants of the stuff we had in our
house.  The grass in front was that outdoor carpet stuff.  The roof had real
shingles.  I had that house for a long time.  Then we gave into my
grandmother to share with all my cousins.  That was also the first Christmas
that I had a part in the church pageant.  I still remember I recited a
little poem about Mary.  It was really cool.  It was great that my parents
wanted me to participate in everything.
