Thanks Liz,
I think people would find those resources useful.
I’m more interested in gauging where people are at. If people are doing fine, then all good. If anyone wanted to get started though and thought they didn’t know where to start, then we’d start a chat about which resources other people have appreciated.

Hi Johnathan,
Last year, I did the rOpenSci champions program and it was excellent. They have excellent written instruction on their website, and they're a group of people who care a lot about accessibility and inclusion. You can apply to either write a package or focus on code review. I was interested in code review because I'm involved with a big team science project.
This year, the champions program will be offered in Spanish.
The development guide, which also has a chapter on code review, is at this website: https://devguide.ropensci.org/index.html

Hi all,
I’m wondering if anyone is wanting to create a package and hasn’t gotten started for any reasons.
In particular, does any reticence relate to availability of guidance, either personal or documentation?
Thanks,
Jonathan
