Hi there,
I am using VS Code with Jaws. To view the output of the current cell, Control + down arrow, after that, Escape to go back to the cell list. up and down arrow keys to navigate between cells in the cell list, and then press enter to open a cell or application key to open the context menu of a cell. Once a cell is opened, you can type as a text editor similar to Notepad.
Cheers,
Nam

Subject: [BlindRUG] Notebook accessibility
Hi All
I just wanted to ask if anyone has had success using Jupyter Notebooks or similar notebook frameworks with a screen reader? Are there any tips and tricks?
I increasingly find that online tutorials make use of notebooks. Some platforms, like Kaggle for example, are partially accessible, but relatively unusable due to the screen reader continuously losing focus.
Thanks
Marcus
