Resorts, etc.:  Your Rights as a Business and Leisure Traveler with a
Disability" Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 2:00pm Central.

About the Webcast

What are your rights as a traveler with a disability in the US?  What
about when traveling outside the US?  Are your rights different when
traveling by air, train, or by bus?  What if you travel with a service
animal?  What are your rights in motels, hotels, and resorts?  This
webcast will focus on the rights of people with disabilities when
traveling, and will offer some key tips on how to avoid unpleasant
travel experiences.  In addition, enforcement options will be explored.

About the Presenter 

J. Aaron McCullough is an attorney specializing in discrimination law,
with a special focus on architectural accessibility.  He is also a
former legal specialist for the Disability Law Resource Project (DLRP).
In that role he produced materials on disability law issues, provided
training on all aspects of the ADA, and field technical assistance
requests.  He is now in private practice.
 
Aaron earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in
December of 2000, and became a member of the State Bar of Texas in the
spring of 2001.  Aaron entered law school after working as a social
worker for Central Plains MHMR in Plainview, Texas where he worked as an
advocate for people with developmental disabilities.  Previously, he
worked at Burrell Mental Healthcare Center, and Lakes Country
Rehabilitation Center, both in Springfield, Missouri.
