I will be going to be assigned a Guardian Ad Litem soon for my Son up here
in Washington State. Will I be able to decide if they might be biased
towards Me as Washington ST. is totally a Women's State? I won custody last
year as a default as she Internationally kidnapped him to Greece and the
F.B.I-U.S. Marshals brought him back to me and she plead guilty. She gained
a passport without my consent even with 3 warrants for her arrest, 2 court
documents told her not to take him out of the State... but she got it
anyway and as the Asst. Attorney for the U.S said it was under funny
circumstances. Well it wasn't to funny and they screwed up big. She is
saying in not so many words it is because I can't take care of him because I
am blind. Anyway she has a lawyer because her parents have money and I live
on SSDI so It is going to be a battle for me.
Anyway, the reason I asked about choosing a Guardian Ad Litem is when I went
to Parenting Classes' (Mandatory for Washington ST. when divorcing with kids
involved), one of the instructors was a female. The first words that came
out of her mouth was, "You men don't deserve the air you breath", and
through the whole 4 hour class she must have mentioned her past husband
leaving her for a "Blonde Bimbo" 20 times. Near the end of the class she
mentioned, "I also work for the State of Washington as a Guardian Ad Litem".
At the time this struck me as "Damn, glad I don't have to use one as the man
has no chance" but now... So if I get assigned to her can I object and try
to have the courts assign another one? Thanks Dave
P.S. She only got 5 years probation and 120 days of home monitoring and the
courts have decided she gets unsupervised visitation and still is a high
flight risk!
