MPRE is the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam. It is required in
some states (though not in Maryland). Other states include a professional
responsibility question or element in the written portion of the exam.
Maryland attorneys need to take it if they wish to waive into DC.

Subject: [blindlaw] thank you for the suggestions

Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for the suggestions. I'm mystified as to how people
mannaged to get accomidated testing on the phone; I've tried calling the
main number several times and asking to be connected to them. Every time I
have been told that accomidated testing doesn't take phonecalls from six
weeks priar to the testday onwards.
I have put a call into my center supervisor to see whether she can arange a
time when I can meet the reader priar to test day. When she calls me back I
will suggest that if we can't meet perhaps we can at least talk on the
phone. I would like to at least make sure that the reader will be able to
read the test effectively before test day.
We as a community really do need to educate LSAC and perhaps even see if
they will let us thke LSATS using screen readers.
Out of curiosity, what is the MPRE?
Olivia
