Good question, and I should have gone on to say that I am looking for a
legal version.  I had been told that someone can legally remove the
software installation from their computer and sell the software CD.
does anyone know if that is in fact not legal, and only a new license is
legitimate?

What does "used" mean? Is that a polite name for pirated? Be careful!
If, on the other hand, you are talking about an OEM version, that is
different, and, most importantly, very legal.

I want to install Office 2003 Professional Edition on my home computer.
What is the best place to buy this software at the least price?  I
assume that "used" software is just as good as "new"?  Any ideas would
