Hi Joe,
I won't make it to Oxford this year, unfortunately.
  Did you?
  Fascinating style of note taking though.
  What I think I want is something to give me a bit of structure.
  e.g. something with which to tkake down on three lines the opposition's three main points.

and maybe where they fall down
and something to put my own major points on.
nothing too long or fancy.
Do you think this would be a slate and stylus's strong point?
  I was thinking of using my laptop but the battery isn't as good as I could wish. also its a little bulky.
