Angie, do you cut the binders off your books to prepare them so quickly?

If you can afford it, I highly, highly recommend the Fujitsu FI-5120C or the
FI-5220C. The 5120 is a sheetfed scanner; the 5220 is a sheetfed combined
with a flatbed. The 5120 runs about 800-900, I think, and the 5220 is about
$400 more.
I have the 5220C. I can scan 100 pages in seven minutes. And the results are
unbelievable. No more waiting for DSS to get books to me. My copies even
turned out to be better than the electronic book I got from one publisher.
I don't know much about the ScanSnap. The scanner I have is duplex, so it
scans both sides of the page at once. IMO, it's more than a reasonable
investment. It's incredible to buy a book and have it ready to read the same
day with very little fus.
