It could be argued that this requirement would have a chilling effect on
blind or otherwise impaired persons who don't qualify for a driver's
license. I wonder where in Federal policy manuals for human resourdces
that these statements about with or without reasonable accommodations
are spelled out for the uninitiated human resource person. Laugh, til
it hurts.

If you can get a hunting license in Minnesota, I suspect getting a
driver's
license in D.C. shouldn't be too difficult, LOL.

While a driver's license requirement is annoying, I've been advised by a
federal personnel specialist that when one sees a driver's license
requirement, to just interpret the announcement to be saying, "with or
without a reasonable accommodation" such as a reader/driver.
