More volunteers needed for Division Expo July 1 in Atlanta
Blindlaw listers:
At the rapidly approaching National Federation of the Blind convention in Atlanta, an exposition of the various NFB divisions will be held.  Divisions ranging from the blind car devotees to the blind writers  will be showing their stuff to the expo attendees.  The National Association of Blind Lawyers will also be showing our stuff and simultaneously serving convention attendees by consulting with them and offering information and referral services for their legal issues.  We will help convention attendees by framing their issues for them so they can return to their home states with a better understanding of where to seek help and how to ask for it.
The Expo will take place beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Marquis Ballroom, Salon D.  Set up begins at noon.
We are seeking volunteers to work at the National Association of Blind Lawyers' table.  Currently, the following individuals have volunteered to help:
Sunday, July 1
1:00 to 2:00 PM, Anthony Thomas and Ray Wayne
2:00 to 3:00 PM, Scott LaBarre and Ruth Swenson
3:00 to 4:00 PM, Denise Avant
The Lawyers' table will be closing an hour earlier than the rest of the exposition in deference to the Mock Trial, which will be held following Resolutions Committee adjournment.
We definitely need someone to volunteer to work with Denise during the 3:00 to 4:00 shift but could also use additional members during the other times.  Please e-mail me if you can help.
