What is NALSWD?
* NALSWD is a coalition of law students dedicated to disability advocacy and the achievement of equal access, inclusion, diversity, and non-discrimination in legal education and in the legal profession.
* The ABA generously funded and organized our initial planning meeting in January 2007 and has extended its support through our launch. Under the student leadership of a steering committee that was elected at the January conference, NALSWD is currently building its membership and leadership base. It’s not too late to get involved!

* Review and ratify the NALSWD constitution
* Election of officers for 2007-08
* Workshops on various topics, including gathering collective input on making NALSWD a sustainable organization
* Discussions on how to connect with pre-law students and lawyers with disabilities
* Networking with mentors and students from across the U.S.
* Reception with attorneys with disabilities

Why is NALSWD important?
