Anil,
First, to answer your dictionary question, "Black's Law Dictionary Digital"
is supposed to be JAWS friendly (I have never tried) and integrates itself
with MS Word. You can find it on Amazon.
Second, I am entering the first year of law school in Canada and all of the
textbooks for my first year courses (except for one) were available as
digital copies from the publishers. It is a bit late to be requesting books
and expect to receive them on time, but the sooner you make a request, the
better. Note, that most publishers require the request be made by the
disability services department of the institution you are attending.
