I tend to agree with your initial interpretation, that is, having a
custodial parent relocate is so bad it is even worse than going blind--oh my
gosh! But I probably would not go "Good and Evil" over it.
For those new to the NFB, "Good and Evil" was a stupid situation comedy in
the early 1990's. We picketed ABC TV due to the show's ridiculous portrayal
of a blind character. And yes, we brought that show to an early demise!
