I haven't attended that conference because I mainly deal with overpayments,
but the attorneys in my office who deal with claims benefits issues on an
ongoing basis say the conference is very useful. When the changes to the
procedures of disability claims was up for comment, it was useful for the
attorneys in our office to get the claims reps' organizational stance on
various issues, most of which we followed. So, I guess I'd say if you deal
much with SSA or social security issues it's worth it to go, if you can
afford it, that is.
