Hi Yasmine,
I wrote two personal statements, and both of them ended up mentioning my blindness. I applied to several schools and ended up narrowing the places I visited down to three. Some schools will provide a partial travel subsidies if you go to an admitted-students
weekend, so it might be worth it to wait until then to visit. On the other hand, you wouldn't have as much individual attention if you came at another time, I suppose. I went to admitted-student events at the three schools I visited. I found that visiting gave me different
impressions of the schools. In the end, I kind of regretted that I could only attend one of them.
Best of luck wiht the application process. Have you taken the LSAT yet?

can have the necessary accommodations. Did any of you do this before applying? Did any of you write about being blind and the obstacles you have overcome in your personal statements?
