[blindlaw] practice and procedure?

Hi, Lorraine suggested I put this on the list, so here goes.

In preparing for a legal career, the issue which gives me some concern is court room practice itself. This is all very well for mock trials etc. but what if the otherside wants to amend
their statement of claim, at the trial of the action (as they are quite entitled to do)?
Documentary, video and photographic evidence would also be of some concern.

For the avoidance of any of the doubts which list members seemed to have on a previous occasion, let me emphasise that these questions do not mean that i'm going to quit and curl up in a ball, weighed down by what were described as "negative stereotypes". what they are is an attempt to deal with such issues in a proactive manner, if for no better reason than to be able to give a good account of possible solutions to a prospective employer. This would be difficult otherwise, since as i'm starting out, i've obviously done none of this kind of thing.

kind regards Ger
