I downloaded IE7 too. The main problem I found was with the control-F
searching. It wouldn't do it with IE7.
There is an ad on for inline searching that helps with this issue. Go to
the menu bar, tools, manage ad-ons, find more ad-ons, then look for in-line
searching.
I don't know what problems would result from reinstalling IE6. Probably
nothing, but I suggest backing up your important documents and outlines
before doing anything.
