Debra,

I do not use Braille, but I do use a lot of assistive technology. I
personally love my Dell laptop, which sounds as if it will be too heavy for
you, but I also have the voice note which does not have the Braille display
but can use a small external keyboard. I have a little voice device called
the Parrot to take really short and fast voice notes and I have used a tape
recorder for this as well. I can echo Chris's comments about the professors
in mock trials firing questions at you and I find that I rarely use notes in
the trial setting. In practice that will probably change, but I don't expect
to continuously use notes. I will officially finish law school next Saturday
and hope to take the bar in July. If there is anything I can help you with,
