I'd like to add two things. The Portico can be purchased without a screen if you want. And with any of the computers, 
you can buy a portable USB scanner and take your OCR with you wherever you go. Of course, you could also buy a 
KNFB reader in a few months. But if you already have a small computer, a portable scanner might be a good option in 
some situations. It would also be more cost-effective.
