John,
Are you describing the MBE portion or the essay?
In taking the Maryland bar, I was able to use a reader for the MBE
because I was told it was unavailable electronically. So when
practicing, I had someone read the questions to me and mark the answers
-- just like under normal test conditions.
As for the essay, I was able to complete this using electronic questions
and my computer for the answers. I read through the essay questions
twice, and during the second or third reading, I would mark up the
question. This included placing notes to myself in brackets [ ]. If a
fact triggered a theory of law, I included that. I then went back and
constructed my essay answer on a separate Word Document by going line
for line through my marked up question. This gave me the opportunity of
using the two sentence method of answering the essay question: first
sentence includes the theory of law and definition, and the second
includes the applicable facts and a quick conclusion. I was able to
copy and paste the applicable facts right from the essay question and
place the facts in quotes " ".
This seemed to work for me as I passed the bar on the first go.
I hope that this helps; if you have any additional questions, please
contact me.
Regards,
Craig

Subject: [blindlaw] Studying for the bar
Hello to those of you have endured the difficulties of the bar exam. I
am not doing as well as I would like on the BARBRI practice questions
and it takes a considerable amount of time to toggle back and forth
between the questions and my answer sheet and then to read all of the
explanations of the answers afterward. My question is do you think it
would be time better spent to stay on the audio lectures and the BARBRI
outlines?
Take care,
John
