Elizabeth,
I would love to have access to your civ pro and ALWD books. Are they hard
copy or electronic braille?
Thanks.
Tai

Like someone already said, first year law students have to do legal
research by going to the library and "opening" all the books with titles
that sound like what you're working on. I wasn't as lucky as that person
whose professor allowed him access to internet resources; therefore in my
first year, I went to the library like everyone else. The school paid ten
hours a week for a reader who also happened to be my classmate--later turned
friend and so we did our research assignments together.
Second and third year were better; I also used the ALWD and I had it in
Braille so that really helped.
You'll be fine Tai; there's really nothing to be afraid of. Besides, you
are good at asking the right questions and I'm sure we'll be available to
answer them! If you're a Braille reader and would like to have my ALWD
manual, I'll let you have it. Also, if you want Civil procedure books I
have those in Braille as well. The latter you might like to read just to
get a feel for what to expect; some of the rules of have changed since
200/2001 when I used the book.
