[blindlaw] OT: Auditioning for "Jeopardy!"

Hi Locke,

Many thanks for the advice! Yep, I took the online test. I had my
roommate, a fast reader, read and type for me. I think part of my "secret
for success" was not having him read the category unless it was necessary
to answer the question (e.g. Before and After); not hearing the category
saved at least a few seconds per question.

I've naturally been listening even more intently than usual to the clues
since I got the good news, and I've found that world capitals tend to come
up more than state capitals, so I'm taking special care with those.

Thanks again. And, incidentally, just because you didn't get an invite
doesn't mean you didn't pass. Not everyone who passed was invited to
audition; there was a random selection process from the group that did
pass. Give it another shot next year!
