Hi all,
I'm a big fan of "talks" and the ease with which you just install it on
higher models of Nokia in Europe and the Middle East. Now on this land, I
had no choice but to switch from Cingular to Verizon because I was no
longer
getting services in my apartment with them. I have till Friday to decide
if
I want to stay with my LG4650, my other option being to get T-Mobile on a
Nokia which could take "Talks". Hard decision ... because I seem to be
unable to figure out all what 4650 can give --my initial reaction was
that:
compared to "Talks", very little. Having been unaware of this list till
last night, I've been running around all week long, speaking with
technicians at Verizon's central office as well as stopping by two local
Verizon offices, but noone could give me either instruction or the manual
in
any accessible format. Now that I spent a good two hours reviewing the
"get
started" tips on this list, there's some hope. My question is that if
anyone has used 4670 and if features therein are any different or more
easily accessible.
Also, unrelated to LGs or Verizon, has anyone had the experience of
signing
up with T-Mobile, purchasing a Nokia phone (from a third party as
T-Mobile's
offered Nokia phone are only 6010 or 6103) which is compatible with
"Talks"?
I'd appreciate to know. I have "Talks" with me on a CD from overseas but
having been exposed to the complications of the cell phone world here, I'm
no longer sure if it could be easily installed on any phone here. Any
tips
that may help me make a decision?
Thanks,
-Hengameh
