I echo the above comment with the caveat that if I hired an assistant to

speak in a sexy whisper into my ear on a routine basis, that assistant
would 
be a woman.  That makes me a man, not a sexist.  A less passive
aggressive 
approach would have to just to jump in with the feminist enlightenment, 
rather than to ... OH forget it. I'm done.  This is far too lugubrious
now.
