I went through the same thing with my Physical Therapist. It took me a whole
hour to convince her that I could use a power chair. I had to convince her
that other blind people did it, so there wasn't any reason why I couldn't. I
had to present her with documentation...information off the
Internet...testimonials if you will. I did finally convince her though, and
it didn't take me long to convince the wheelchair technician either.
