I guess my desire is to not have to resort to dangerous or even inconvenient
ways of opening and closing a door -- it is where I live after all, it ought
to be convenient and safe, even if inconveniences aren't major they are
still annoying.
Just a thought.

All our bathroom and bedroom doors swing into the room, so I don't have any
problem with them. The front and side doors however, need to be pulled open,
so I do have a hard time closing them. What I do is pull it a little from
the space between the door and the wall. It's a bit risky, but it works. I
haven't slammed my fingers yet :)
