Petra,
It may not be true in all cases, but as I have said, it doesn't work for me,
and I have very strong upper body strength. Even the vender who came to take
measurements for my power chair said the one-armed drive chair wasn't a good
choice for me. Of course, I do realize he probably said that so that he
could make a sale, but he just happened to be right in my case. With the
chair I have now, I can't go anywhere out of my familiar zone, and it drives
me crazy...I want to be free.
