Hello: My name is Kassie and I am 25 years old.  I have several conditions relating to an underlying mitochondrial disorder.  I am also blind. I also have a low immune system and low tolerance for catching things.  I use a power wheelchair and a 63 inch bifolding cane for mobility. I would like to thank Laura for taking the initiative for starting this group. I collected names at the NFB Convention but then forgot to pass them on.  Last week my mom and dad and I closed on a condo in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and I will finally be moving out from their home!!!!  I look forward to getting to know all of you.  Your friend, Kassie
