Hi Laura,

I have been warned by sighted people, when I even thought there was noone to
push me, that I was quite near a staircase. So your theory sounds quite
reasonable to me. That was the reason for me, to apply for a guidedog. And
yes, surely it was such a beautiful "excuse" to get such a lovely dog.
(smile) When Beau isn't working for me, i'm always pushed outside,. My cane
use is just for Beau's moments of freedom, when I want to have the
possibility to follow her along an easy path.
