Hi, 

I'm Carrie and I live in Denver.  I am deafblind and use a power wheelchair.
I've used a wheelchair full time for 10 years. I was hard of hearing and
lost my residual hearing and most of my vision within months of each other 5
years ago.  My vision fluctuates a great deal, with a tremendous amount of
light sensitivity, but I do have to use my residual vision for mobility and
communication.  

I work full-time for a disability rights organization where I am an
attorney.  I am also a single mom with 3 kids.  My oldest is deafblind and
uses a wheelchair, but she is not independently mobile.  My youngest has low
vision, and is learning to use a power wheelchair.  My middle has no sensory
disabilities, and no mobility disability, but has other disabilities.
